Danny is a left sided full-back now in his second spell at Ashton. He has experience at Conference North level having featured for both Hyde United and Stalybridge Celtic in recent seasons.

After returning to Hurst Cross in 2007 he quickly established himself as the regular left-back with a series of impressive displays. He even spent a period of the season as captain after an injury to then skipper Billy McCartney.

Last season saw injuries interrupt Danny's season, but he was still a key performer for the Robins in both defence and midfield when called upon.
